(My baby girl, when she was 5 years old)
We have been running like crazy! No kidding, we have not stopped yet...for days. (except to sleep, if we can).
We have had doctors appointments back to back to back, and I got a job working at a daycare (in the baby room). I work from 2pm-close. Then I come home and eat dinner, do the whole bedtime routine; brush kids teeth, baths/showers, braid Clara's hair, give vitamins out, give meds out, get school clothes ready, do a few loads of laundry, make sure dinner is cleaned up and dishes are loaded, get Aiden taken care of, 100 times, and then take care of anything that has to be done for the kids school the next day. Then I get to sit or lay down until Kat starts having her night terrors, and then I am up and down until around 5am. Then I get back up again at 6:20am to get the girls ready for school and then off to yet another doctors appointment.
Today was Aiden's for his ear, belly and head hurting lately. They said it's allergies, give him Claritin. So he starts that tomorrow, if we can get to the pharmacy in time before I have to get to work. Tomorrow morning is Clara's dental appointment in Atlanta, then Friday she has her Clinic in Atlanta.
I have to make an appointment for Kat for behavioral troubles and night terrors. She is extremely intelligent, there is not a developmental delay of any kind, but there are some real behavioral issues going on. Her doctor listened to some of our concerns today regarding this and the night terrors and said that she needs to come in for evaluation. So we will be doing that soon as well.
Mary's medicine finally came in. Her pharmacy had to call it in to another pharmacy because their warehouse had it on back order. *major eye roll* It only took a week to get her pain meds because of this.
But she has it, she took it and she is out! It didn't even take 20 minutes and that child was down for the count. I hope it keeps her comfortable all night long.
Ugh... to say that I am beyond exhausted would be an understatement. I need sleep something serious, y'all.
