Update on Mary's Day (And Kathryn Too)

She did great! Day 2 without the wheelchair and she did it! She even rode the bus home! That's a big thing for her. Not that she likes riding the bus, but that she could! :) She said her hip is sore, but she's hurting more in her wrist. So she is hurting, but she's walking. She said that the pain of the wrist kind of takes over the pain of her hip. :( Oh! And she played outside for a good 30-35 minutes with her sisters! Yay, Mary!!

I am so terrified of her staying inactive for too long. I don't want her hip to do what her wrist has done and lock up completely, leaving her unable to walk at all. So I am happy that she has gone 2 days out of the chair. Now I just wish we could stop the pain in her wrist, or at least find something that would help to take the pain level down a good bit.

When Mary and Clara got home from school, Mary came in beaming. She was smiling from ear to ear and just so proud. She showed me the certificate in her hand and the gift card for a milkshake from Chick-Fil-A.

She is STUDENT OF THE MONTH!

How about that?! :D Proud, proud Mommy right here! <3 <3

And to see how proud she was of herself....that was awesome! Now she and her sisters are in the livingroom fighting and arguing....oh well. Two wins for the day is fantastic. LOL

**If anyone else is wondering about how Kathryn is doing after her root canal, she is doing good. She was sore for a little bit until her Ibuprofen kicked in, but now she's laying down watching tv and she's ok. :) <3 She's a lot stronger than I would be. I don't do the dentist thing. I'm terrified of them. Thankfully I haven't needed one, yet. I have a feeling that'll change soon as these darn wisdom teeth keep pushing through. :(
