Today was an awesome day. She was so excited and maybe a little nervous too.
When Pastor Casey called her name, I could feel the electricity coming off of her, lol. But once she got to him, she was ok. And she did great. She didn't freak out or panic when he went to dunk her, she just held on to his arm and put her trust in him.
I was so happy to have my parents there for Mary. And my Aunt Laura and my Aunt Vicki and our friends, Rebeka and Kerstin, my cousin and her kids, and my Uncle George and Josh. (My Aunt Laura even brought Mary flowers, which just made her day even better. :)
There were some others that I wish could've made it, but it's ok. We know they love us and would have been there if they could have made it. There were 3 other kids being baptized today as well, and the church was packed! So if anyone else came for Mary, I didn't know it. I'd love to know if anyone else was there for her. I am so thankful for the turn out this morning.
