Worried A Bit

Mary is complaining of her stomach hurting her a lot lately. I knew when we put her on the Ibuprofen and now Naproxen, that there were risks involved with her belly health. So now that she is complaining about it, I am starting to become worried that that's what's happening to her.

I have asked her to go as long as she possibly can without taking or asking for any pain medicine. We need to see if that's what's going on or if it's something else. Y'all know me, my crazy mind instantly goes to the worst case scenario.

I know she's hurting a lot lately because she is overdoing it with trying to play and be active, so we are going to spend the next week toning it down a bit. They are out of school for Spring Break this coming up week, so we are going to spend as much time at home as possible, watching movies, playing games, and just taking it easy.

I think we all just need a reset. Our lives have been chaotic and hectic and crazy nonstop for months. We need to just stop and relax and just be together for a little bit. In doing that, she will get to rest and hopefully the pain will subside a little.

Her wrist is hurting more right now because she is being forced to write all day long at school while the other students are using the laptop she usually uses for their Milestone Testing. She hasn't been a happy camper about that at all. And I don't really think it's fair either. She needs that laptop in order to not hurt. But it is what it is I suppose. I can't really do anything about it since it belongs to the school and we don't have the money to supply her a laptop for school. So she has to deal with it for now.

I can not wait to get into her Rheumatology appointment. I am really looking forward to getting some answers and getting something done for her. This wait has just been beyond ridiculous. My baby needs relief, now.

(She is in love with this outfit that my cousin gave to her. She had to show it off. :) Excuse the mess and the Daddy and Aiden in the background). :P
